Martha & Marley Spoon was founded in 2015 with a guiding principle in mind: to empower Americans to cook wholesome, delicious meals made with healthy, sustainable ingredients any day of the week. Our ongoing commitment to this principle centers on the food supply chain—specifically, reimagining and reinventing it to reduce food waste and create a more just and equitable system for all.

Delivering high-quality proteins to our community of home cooks plays a large role in this mission. We work closely with our supply chain partners to ensure adherence to high animal welfare standards and support the advancement of improvements within the meat and poultry production industry.

As our supply chain expands, so too does our ability to further advance our already stringent animal welfare initiatives. It’s why we aligned with the Better Chicken Commitment to enhance quality of life for our broiler chickens and reflect our customers’ desire for sustainably and consciously sourced ingredients.

We will share updates as we progress toward achieving these goals. As always, thank you for being a member of the Martha & Marley Spoon community.
