Since our launch in 2015, we’ve been on a mission to provide a simple solution to cook fresh, healthy, and delicious meals at home by delivering easy-to-follow recipes with pre-portioned ingredients to our customers.
Delivering high-quality proteins to our community of home cooks plays a significant role in this mission. We work closely with our animal protein suppliers to ensure adherence to high animal welfare standards and support improvements within the meat and poultry production industry.
In 2020, we signed the Better Chicken Commitment in the United States with the aim to source chickens that enjoy a good quality of life. Since then we’ve been working towards implementing all of its elements.
Our suppliers’ compliance with the Better Chicken Commitment standards is tracked and reported on an annual basis in order to document and share our efforts and progress. This reporting initiative has allowed us to foster a culture of transparency and accountability as we continue on our animal welfare roadmap.
